Before ending your booking, it’s important to check that the vehicle is charging. Some charging stations also require activation using a charging tag or card.
In the app, under your booked vehicle, you’ll find information about the specific activation method (if required) for that charging station.
If the vehicle is left without charging being activated, a fee will apply. Please refer to our General Terms and Conditions for more information about applicable fees.
Garo GLB Charging Box
Green – The Garo GLB charging box lights up green when the charging cable is ready to be connected.
Flashing Green – If the box flashes green after being plugged into the car, it is waiting for charging to be activated using a charging tag/card.
Hold the tag/card against the RFID symbol on the right-hand side of the charging box (see image below).
Blue – The Garo GLB charging box lights up blue when charging is activated and supplying power to the car.
Red – The Garo GLB charging box lights up red when an error occurs.
Please unplug the charger from both the car and the station, then try again.
If the box remains solid red even after unplugging, please submit an error report through the “Report damage or issue” button under your booking.

Hold the charging tag/card against the RFID symbol as shown in the image below.

CTEK Chargestorm

Green – The CTEK charging box lights up green when the charging cable is ready to be connected.
If the box remains green after being plugged in, the charger requires activation using a charging tag/card.
Hold the tag/card against the RFID symbol that lights up green on the charging box (see image below).
Blue – The CTEK charging box lights up blue when charging is activated and supplying power to the car.
Red – The CTEK charging box lights up red when an error occurs.
Please unplug the charging cable from both the car and the station, then try again.
If the box remains solid red even when the cable is unplugged, please submit an error report through the “Report damage or issue” button under your booking.

Hold the charging tag/card against the RFID symbol as shown in the image below.

Charge Amps Aura

Green – The Charge Amps charging box lights up green when the charging cable is ready to be connected.
If the car still shows a green light after connection and a small orange light blinks on the station, charging must be activated using a charging tag/card.
Hold the tag/card against the black panel on the charging station (see image below).
Blue – The Charge Amps charging box lights up blue when charging is activated and supplying power to the car.
Red – The Charge Amps charging box lights up red when an error occurs.
Please unplug the charging cable from both the car and the station, then try again.
If the box remains solid red even when the cable is unplugged, please submit an error report through the “Report damage or issue” button under your booking.

Renault Zoe
In the Renault Zoe, you can see that the car is charging by checking the Z.E. logo near the charging port and the display behind the steering wheel.
Wait until the Z.E. logo pulses blue before leaving the car.
A red light indicates an error.

In the Nissan Leaf, you can see that the car is charging by checking the three indicator lights near the windshield.
Wait until the lights blink blue in sequence before leaving the car.
No light indicates an error.

Tesla
In a Tesla, you can see that the car is charging by checking the screen inside the vehicle.

Volkswagen
In the Volkswagen ID models, you can see that the car is charging by checking the indicator light next to the charging port and the screen inside the car.
Wait until the indicator light turns green before leaving the vehicle.
A red light indicates an error.
