Manual Bicycle Trailer

Here you’ll find instructions and assistance for those who want to use the Bicycle Trailer.

Minor Accidents and Damages

Under “My Bookings”, click on “Report Damage.”
Take pictures of the vehicle if any damage has occurred and upload them. In the text box, describe what happened and include the vehicle’s registration number.

Safety

Handle the trailer and its accessories carefully to ensure safety and extend their lifespan.
Always check the trailer before departure to reduce the risk of injury to yourself or others in traffic.
Check tire pressure and make sure no parts are loose or damaged.
Bring the chain to securely lock the bike.

Specifications

  • Cargo space: 67 x 44.5 x 28.5 cm (W x D x H)

  • Maximum load: 50 kg

  • Front and rear gates with hinges

  • Please note: Not suitable for transporting children.

  • Quick-release coupling for easy attachment to cargo bikes

Attaching the Trailer

There is a coupling on the rear wheel of the bike, slightly protruding from the hub.
Remove the metal pin that acts as a safety lock.
Insert the trailer’s hitch arm into the coupling.
Then insert the metal pin through both the coupling and the hitch arm, and close it securely.

Before Departure

  1. Make sure you have read and understood the terms of use and instructions.

  2. Open the key box with the code provided in your booking.

  3. Unlock the chain attached to the bicycle trailer.

  4. Bring the chain with you so you can securely lock the trailer during your trip.

  5. Attach the bicycle trailer to the rear axle of the bike using the quick-release coupling.

During the Trip

  • Handle the bike and trailer carefully and focus on traffic.

  • Turn gently to prevent the trailer from tipping over.

  • Park the bike and trailer considerately. Lock the bike with both the chain and the frame lock, and secure it to a fixed object using the chain.

End of Booking

  1. Park the bicycle trailer in the designated spot in the vehicle pool.

  2. Thread the chain through the ground loop and the trailer, then lock it.

  3. Hang the key back in the key box and make sure it is properly closed.

  4. End the booking in the app.

  5. Take any trash with you.
