To disconnect the charging cable, you must first activate your booking so the car is unlocked. When you need to charge the car, use the same button to the left of the steering wheel to open the charging port.

How to start the car:

To start the car, press the brake pedal and then press the start button to the right of the steering wheel.
Release the parking brake, which is located by the center console, by pressing it downwards.

Select driving mode:

The lever has three driving modes: D-N-R.

  • R - Reverse

  • N - Neutral

  • D - Drive

The Zoe 52 does not have a parking mode, but it has a parking brake located beside the lever. It's also fine to simply turn off the car directly without using the parking brake.

Always press the brake pedal when switching between driving modes.

How to turn off the car:

Turn off the ignition using the on/off button to the right of the steering wheel.

Don’t forget the car key in the glove compartment during temporary stops!

How to lock and unlock the car:

In the glove compartment, you’ll find the car key. It is stored in a tag holder (Note: The car key must be returned in the same way at the end of your booking). The car key works like a traditional car key and is used to lock the car during temporary stops throughout your booking.

Charging:

You can charge your booked car for free from your home station during the entire booking. If you need to charge the car during your journey, you can use the car's navigation system to find public charging stations along your route. To do so, open the map in the navigation system, enter your destination, and the car will automatically show the available charging stations along your route. You will be responsible for the cost of charging outside your home station.

In addition to the car’s navigation system, there are many useful apps and websites that show available charging stations, such as https://abetterrouteplanner.com/ and Charge Finder (Note: None of these sites are affiliated with OurGreenCar).
